Charlie Bowers is a proven leader in the commercial banking industry with a thirty plus year track record of effective management and success in relationship development through establishment of a superior service model. Charlie is also recognized as a pioneer of corporate responsibility in the North Carolina banking community. Areas of expertise include organizational and team leadership, commercial and consumer lending, de nova branching, special assets and workout solutions and building community relationships. Having served as a senior level officer within large regional and mid-sized community bank institutions he has been responsible for the overall management strategic planning, development of corporate relationships and the establishment of production goals within his assigned markets. As a corporate level officer, he has been a leader of corporate level committees involving strategic planning, that included deposit growth, credit quality and profitability assuring proper margin control and maximizing shareholder value. As an additional responsibility, he has indirectly supervised mortgage loan originators and investment specialist.
Mr. Bowers is a graduate of Barton College, Wilson North Carolina and the North Carolina School of Banking (intermediate and advanced) University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. |
