With a professional background spanning almost two decades and encompassing accounting, auditing, forensics and management, Brian George is one of the top financial and tax professionals in the field today. Mr. George has brought integrity and excellence in forensics and a broad range of other financial work to employers and clients in government, and in private and public companies of all sizes. He has investigated a host of domestic and international fraud cases, including leading the design and implementation of a new antifraud program for an international public company with operations in seven countries on three continents. Mr. George has also developed capital raising plans for several non-profit entities and small- to mid-size businesses as well as tax planning strategies for personal and small business owners.
Mr. George approaches his specialty, forensic accounting, with a belief that re-establishing investor faith is one of the best ways to return companies, governments and whole economies to financial health. “Integrity is a necessity in today’s uncertain financial world; I can help my clients establish or re-establish theirs,” George says.
An experienced and successful manager who is known for his calm demeanor in the face of any crisis, Mr. George takes pride in leading teams of individuals who are encouraged to develop their strengths and establish themselves as experts in their fields.
Mr. George is a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. He has earned designations as a Certified Public Accountant (Pennsylvania and North Carolina), Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certification in Control Self-Assessment, and Certified Information Technology Professional.
Mr. George is the current Training Director of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ Charlotte Area Chapter. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). |
